The Hotel

Our hotel is a 20-room chalet-style lodge made with the outdoor adventure community in mind. Comfortable rooms, easy trail access, and plenty of space make the lodge perfect for romantic escapes, quiet getaways, family reunions, and corporate retreats. With amenities that include complimentary Wi-Fi, a large meeting and game space, ample parking, and even an ATM, the lodge is one of the most unique Wakefield hotels and is ideal for a true Upper Peninsula vacation.

Offering some of the best skiing in Michigan, the Snowriver Mountain Resort in Wakefield features 400 acres of skiable terrain, lake-effect snow, and high-speed lifts.

Wakefield is home to several popular hiking trails including the Wolf Mountain Trail, Split Rock Trails, and the Presque Isle River Waterfalls Loop.
